Hotel Information: Small and intimate, this resort caters especially to families. With a staff-to-guest ratio of 1:1, a vacation nanny service, four restaurants, and a multitude of activities, the resort predominantly attracts parents of young children and infants, and, sometimes, teenage siblings.
Amenity highlights: Franklyn D. Resort & Spa - All Inclusive features two small crescent beaches fronting calm-water swimming coves. Snorkeling opportunities lie within and just outside the coves. Pools include a 23-meter-long (75-foot-long) freeform pool and an activities pool with a 30-meter (100-foot) spiral water slide. Toddlers enjoy two shallow pools, one with a 1.2-meter (four-foot) water slide. A rocky point between the swimming coves features an adults-only six-person spa tub and a sundeck. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the resort's public areas.

The resort offers 76 guest suites in eight three- and four-story buildings (no elevators). Balconies or terraces are furnished with Adirondack chairs. Living rooms have ceiling fans and louvered windows and doors, and bedrooms are air conditioned. Living rooms also include couches or day beds, dining sets, breakfast bars, televisions, and refrigerators stocked with soft drinks and cheese. High-speed Internet access is complimentary.
Bathrooms sinks have booster steps for children, and televisions with U.S. cable channels include cartoon channels. The resort's gift shop rents VCRs and videos.
