RIU Tropical Bay All Inclusive

Amenity highlights: The resort is arrayed on 400m (437 yds) of the fine sand running around Jamaica's calm-water Bloody Bay. Two irregularly shaped pools, one with swim-up bar and 35-person jetted section, provide freshwater swimming. The resort supplies nonmotorized water-sports gear, and, for surcharges, a water-sports center offers motorized water sports, scuba-diving instruction/certification, and scuba-diving and snorkeling excursions.

Insider tip: Sunsets at Rick's Café 11.5 km (7.25 mi) south of the resort are a Negril tradition. People dive from 15m (50-ft) cliffs into the Caribbean Sea, and a band plays reggae for dancing.

The majority of amenities, activities, and gratuities at this resort are included in the room rate; guests are not charged extra for the majority of amenities and activities (scroll up to the All-Inclusive Details section for more information).

RIU Tropical Bay All Inclusive offers 416 guestrooms in seven three-story lavender buildings (no elevators). Balconies and ground-floor terraces are furnished with chairs and cocktail tables. Decor includes pale-yellow walls, mahogany-colored furniture, and marble vanities. Wood-paddle ceiling fans supplement air conditioning. Televisions offer European and U.S. cable channels. Compact refrigerators contain drink mixers, soft drinks, beer, and water. Liquor dispensers offer rum, vodka, gin, and brandy.
