Hotel Information: The adults-only Royal Plantation, a boutique-style resort, evokes the British colonial grandeur that once dominated Jamaica while also offering 21st-century conveniences. With shuttles to nearby golf, dining, and activities at partner resorts, the Royal Plantation combines the intimacy of a private villa and the amenities of a full resort.

Amenity highlights: The resort’s ocean frontage includes twin white-sand beaches separated by a dock and furnished with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Each morning, beach butlers provide complimentary mango mimosas, chilled towels, cucumber eye pads, and rosewater face-and-body misting. The on-site Red Lane Spa features a tropical nail bar and treatments such as the Java Jive Scrub, West Indian massage, and Fountain of Youth facials. Guests may book either an All-Inclusive plan or a Room-Only (European) plan. The All-Inclusive plan includes meals, drinks, gratuities, and the majority of resort-offered amenities and activities. The Royal Plantation’s 73 suites offer ornamental or walkout balconies with views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea. All have four-poster, canopied beds with Italian linens and down duvets. Pillow menu selections include memory, buckwheat hull, water-filled, leg-spacer, and five-foot body cushion options. Sitting areas have upholstered chairs.

Marble baths provide telephone extensions, makeup/shaving mirrors, and bathrobes. Some have separate jetted tubs.

Other amenities include high-speed Internet access (surcharge) and satellite TV with U.S. channels, pay movies, and video games (surcharge).
